Len sat in the den contemplating the mess he was currently in. And for once it wasn't Mick, Lisa or his fathers fault. No some other 'Being' he'd never heard of or meet had decided he would be perfect to have as a fighter in some super powered gladiator matches. He didn't even have super powers. Nor did he have extensive combat training like his room mate Sara Lance. And he wasn't crazy like Harley Quinn. All he was was a very good thief with a gun that could shot ice. Against someone like Supergirl all that would be totally useless. Whoever picked him for this must not like him very much and he wondered who's dog he kicked in a past life to deserve this. (read a similar line once thought it was funny ^^)

He couldn't even distract himself with working on his weapon because it was locked up when he wasn't training with it or using it in the Arena. He'd been stalking the grounds and had even looked at some of those collars on the other prisoners trying to find a way out. Unfortunately he wasn't on his planet earth anymore so leaving the area was useless and every time he even touched one of the collars to try to get it off it would shock both him and the wearer. He his fingers had small burn marks from all his attempts. The others wouldn't let him try anymore. Some of the hero's said it was because they didn't want him to get hurt but the Villains were more honest. They didn't want anymore shocks.

So here he sat trying to think of a way out that might actually work. His chin resting on his knee, and his foot on the coffee table, his other foot tapping with his contained energy.

"You look like you're ready to jump out the window, Leonard." Sara commented as she walked into the den. Coming up to the back of the couch, she leaned on her forearms next to the thief. "Still giving yourself a hard time about not having figured out a plan to get these collars off?" she asked, watching his knee bounce. "Or you still trying to figure it out without shocking the hell out of people? Don't hurt yourself too much, Snart, gotta be in fighting shape once they start the fun filled fights at the arena." She said the last bit sarcastically as she turned and sat on the back of the couch.

Glancing back at him, she sighed. "Look I've noticed you haven't gotten much sleep because of all this." She slid down the couch and sat beside him.

Len heard someone coming up behind him then he heard Sara speak. He cocked his head in her direction showing he was listening but didn't turn to look at her. He snorted when she commented about jumping out the window. Not that that would do any good since they were on the first floor.

He rolled his eyes and signed when she brought up his attempts to get out of the collars and staying fit for the fights.

When she mentioned his sleep habits his eyes moved to her and narrowed just slightly. "I doubt many of use are sleeping well Blondie. Even the ones from the universe similar to this don't seem that comfortable. And what about you? You don't seem to be getting those 8 hours yourself." He told her with a smirk daring her to continue asking him about his sleeping.

Since he was young he had problems sleeping in places he was unfamiliar with and around people he didn't know. It just took him time to deal with all this. It was especially hard when he knew he was a prisoner here. He hadn't even broken the law damn it. If your going to be a prisoner you should have at least had fun getting there.

Sara gave him a look. "I haven't had a full eight hours sleep in five years. Only time I ever got that many hours, plus some, was when I was dead." She stated, challenging him in return.

"But I'm still sleeping... You're not, roomie. Look, you need someone willing to let you work on their collar, right?" she asked, catching his interest a little. "Use me. I don't give a crap about the pain, been through worse with the League. But you," she said, standing up and grabbing his arm. "Need to get off your ass. You're starting to fuse into the couch."

Len narrowed his eyes at Sara as she spoke about how he wasn't sleeping at all. That was not completely true. If he hadn't slept in the last two weeks he'd be dead but it was more like 10 minutes here 30 minutes there. It was irritating how observant she was. Only Mick and his sister were usually able to read him like this and He wasn't used to someone who knew so little about him knowing things about him.

When she offered her collar for practice he looked at her confused. He was even more surprised when she grabbed him and pulled him off the couch.

"Alright Lance we'll give it a couple tries, if your such a willing Guinea pig." He waked her over to a table and chairs she sat in one chair and he in the other. He pulled his kit out of his boot.

He had already made modifications to the kit based on his previous attempts. The tools now had rubber around the areas he held them giving his fingers some protection. Not much protection, if the rubber were thick enough to completely protect him he wouldn't be able to maneuver them like he needed. He also had a thin piece of rubber he had begun using on those that let him work on their collars to give them a little protection as well.

Sara put her hands to the side. "Hey, no pain no gain, right?" She smirked a little, before following him to the table.

She sat down where he gestured and leaned forward with her elbows resting against her knees. "Hmm, see you've upgraded." She commented noticing the tools he used looked different.

"Leonard," She said after a moment. When he glanced up at her, she continued. "Even if we don't get it this time, keep using me, all right?" She sat up straight in the chair. "Someone's gotta do something about this mess."

Adjusting herself in the chair, she prepared for him to get started. She took slow deep breaths to help clear her mind. "Ready when you are."

Len sighed and nodded agreeing silently to continue working with Sara to try to get them out. Len hated that this was going to hurt her. He hated hurting woman in general. He supposed that came from protecting Lisa and his mother from his father Lewis for so long. He moved forward with the strip of rubber and carefully moved it between Sara's skin and the collar. Even this he had to be carefully doing or it could electrocute both of them.

He gently opened the one panel he could access and began slowly move wires around. His eyes narrowed as he focused on his work. His lips pinched at the corners as a small jolt ran through his fingers. He had learned that the intensity of the shock was related to how close he was to any of the major components. Right now what he was focusing on was stopping the shocks. If he could do that then he would be able to work longer without having to rest his fingers. And if he could do that and get these things off the people with powers they might be able to get free.

Sara focused on a spot on the wall across from her as Leonard worked. She continued her slow and steady breathing. Her head was tilted slightly to the side, giving him a better angle to work on the collar.

At the small jolt, she barely flinched. "After this... we need to find a bar." She mumbled, licking her bottom lip a little.

At another jolt, her hands tensed on her knees, but she kept her breathing steady.

"An excellent idea." His eyes narrow as another jolt goes through the two of them. He removes his hands his fingers starting to feel numb. If he works numb he'll hurt her and himself. Better to take things slow and not cause permanent damage to either of them.

He takes the rubber off her seeing a slight redness to her neck and grimaces lightly. But at least she wasn't burned. On the first try he'd made he had worked with Supergirl and had shocked both of them so bad they both had light burns. They had faded from Supergirl within a few days and a few days latter his own burns were gone.

"Lets take a break for a bit and get that drink." He said smirking at her lightly.

Sara glanced at him when she felt him move stop working. "You good, Snart?" she asked, seeing him try to work the numbness out of his fingers.

After he took the rubber piece out away from her neck, she rubbed the spot a little. She caught sight of him grimacing a little at the sight of her neck. "Heh, that bad, huh?" She gave him a half smile, before it turned into a smirk at his suggestion.

"Hell yeah." She stood up and grabbed her leather jacket off the coat-rack. "Been cooped up here for too long anyways. I think we're due for some fun." She smirked at Leonard over her shoulder.
